This year marks the 82nd anniversary of D-Day, the day in which the Allied infantry landed in Normandy with the end goal of liberating France, and eventually Western Europe.

You successfully conquered Omaha Beach: it’s time to conclude this year’s commemorative event and storm Sword Beach now. That’s right, this year we’re celebrating D-Day’s anniversary with TWO events full of challenges and rewards. Plus, we’re having a second round of themed sales as well!

Prove your worth in an Event inspired by the largest seaborne invasion in history!

D-Day: Sword Beach - How To Play

The D-Day Event is a special game mode that you can access from the game mode menu, similar to how you access other special events like Warriors.

In this event partially inspired by history, you’ll be fighting as part of the British and Polish forces during the Normandy invasion. That means that you can use only certain types of tanks for this event:

• Only British and Polish tanks
• Only tanks from Tiers VI and VII
• Only Light tanks, Medium tanks, Heavy tanks, and Tank Destroyers.

Once the match is underway, your mission begins, Commander. You’ll be part of a ten-player team that will have 15 minutes to clear the beach and defeat Sword Beach’s Bosses, the Red Tigers regiment and the Black Baron.

Completing the Event and its Challenges will grant you memorable rewards such as the Sword Beach Medal, Skins, and even a Trophy for your Garage!

You can play the D-Day: Sword Beach event as many times as you want.

Other points to note:

• Respawns will be enabled.
• Silver and XP can be earned in this event.
• Only Commander XP Boosters can be used in this event.
• Repair and resupply costs will apply.
• Ammo and Repair pickups will be available on the map.

D-Day: Sword Beach - Challenges

This Challenge is set up like many of our other recent special event Challenges. As you complete specific goals during the D-Day Event, you’ll be awarded points.

Earning points will help you complete the event’s challenge, D-Day: Sword. Completing the event will earn you the Sword Beach Medal!

And if you go above and beyond and conquer the event five times, you’ll get the D-Day (Sword Beach) 2026 Trophy for your garage!

Finally, here’s a challenge that specifically rewards you for dealing damage to the event’s powerful boss tanks: the Red Tigers regiment and the Black Baron. Destroy them to get rewarded with a themed Skin, Emblem, and Flag.
