Every Overlord War Chest you open is guaranteed to give you 50 Gold along with a mix of game-boosting items. Among some of the possibilities you can get include days of Premium Account, XP Boosters, and Silver. You might also receive one of 15 Premium tanks from Tiers VII to VIII for World War II mode and from Era 2 to Era 3 for Cold War mode.

Here are some examples of what the contents from an Overlord War Chest might look like:
- Example #1: 1 Day of Premium Account Time + x2 Vehicle XP Booster (2) + x2 Commander XP Booster (2) + 50 Gold
- Example #2: 12,500 Free XP + 50 Gold
- Example #3: 1,300 Gold (1,250 Gold + 50 Gold)
- Example #4: Desert Warrior + Vehicle Slot + 50 Gold
Additionally, all the Premium tanks you can receive from an Overlord War Chest will have an equal chance of dropping, and an anti-duplicate mechanic will be in place for these tanks. What that means is that if you already own one of the vehicles listed, even if you acquired it a different way (in a Store bundle, as a Challenge reward, etc.), then you will not receive that reward again until all other possible tanks have been given first.
Your Overlord War Chest also includes a guaranteed drop mechanic for Premium tanks. If you open 39 Overlord War Chests without dropping a Premium tank, then when you open your 40th Overlord War Chest, you will receive a random tank that you don't already own. The guaranteed drop counter resets after a Premium tank is dropped.
- IMPORTANT NOTE! If you already possess all the possible Premium tank drops and you receive a Premium tank that you already own, then you will be compensated with 50% of the tank’s value in Gold instead. Your guaranteed drop mechanic progress from any unopened Vipers War Chests will transition to the Overlord War Chests. This means that your progress toward a guaranteed Premium tank won't reset with the new Chests.
