Earn Challenge: Santa’s Helper

This year, the Naughty List is longer than ever, so it’s up to you to provide some muscle and take on missions for Santa Claus in this chained Challenge.

And Santa has some wonderful gifts waiting for you as thanks for your help, including exclusive Holiday Ops content.

The prize at the end of Santa’s Helper is a Premium tank known for its high alpha damage and sturdy frontal armor. It’s a tank that’s a right good match for our Holiday Ops celebrity ambassador: the British Tier VIII Charlemagne Heavy Tank!

You’ll complete this Challenge by earning points and climbing through the stages. You have several missions that you can take on to earn points. You’ll see two of these missions at a time in your Challenges tab; as soon as you complete one, it will randomly be replaced with another from the Xmas Missions list (and yes, you can get repeat missions):

And if you’re really in the spirit, you can take on the Naughty List’s worst offenders by completing the bonus Stolen Toys missions. You’ll also see one of these at a time in your Challenges tab; as soon as you complete it, it will randomly be replaced with another from the Stolen Toys Missions list (and yes, you can get repeat missions):

Turn in your Stolen Toys on the “Return Toys” display in the Challenges tab to get more Santa’s Helper points:

These Challenges are repeatable while Holiday Ops is live. The more points you earn, the more rewards you get! Take a look at the whole list below.

Please note: if you already own the Charlemagne, then upon completion of the Challenge, you will receive the tank’s value in Silver (3,900,000 Silver) instead.

Community Event: Holiday Op

The holidays aren’t a time to think just of yourself, bruv. It’s a time to come together (mind you, not with a punch to the face).

That’s why we’ll also have the Holiday Op Community Event going throughout the celebration … and by taking part in the Santa’s Helper Challenge, you’ll also be contributing to the community event’s goals.

You read that right. Every Xmas Mission or Stolen Toys Mission that you complete also counts toward the community’s total and contributes toward completing a stage. The more missions everyone completes as part of Santa’s Helper, the more rewards EVERYONE receives!

(Please note that Return Toys does not count toward the missions completed.)

You’ll be able to keep track of the missions that the community has completed with the Community Events display on the game’s main start/game mode menu.

NEW: British Tier IX Old Reliable Medium Tank

Now that Vinnie Jones has stepped back from being Santa’s Naughty List enforcer, he’s ready for a new ride that will let him handle anything that’s thrown at him. Of course, it’s got to have his personality, too, because if you’re going to go out tanking, you might as well go in style.

Luckily, we’ve got just the thing. Give a proper season’s greeting to the British Tier IX Old Reliable Medium Tank.

Gameplay Info

When Old Reliable is played as a mid-range fire support tank, that’s when it lives up to its name. Think of its gun like a single-fire shotgun that uses three types of shells, giving you options to take out opponents of any size:

• Your “slugs,” a.k.a. AP rounds, do moderate damage but have the best chance to punch through heavier armor.
• Your “buckshot,” a.k.a. HESH rounds, offer bigger damage potential and average penetration and are best used against medium armor.
• And your “birdshot,” a.k.a. HE rounds, give you the biggest damage potential and are best used against thin armor.

And that’s not all. Old Reliable also has solid gun handling and mobility and outstanding gun depression—all the traits that make a tank excel at bringing the pain down from the hills and ridgelines. Head for the high ground, wait for the right moment, and then … boom. Nothin’ to it.
