Hello, Commanders,

We want to let you know that we’ll be doing another round of system cleanup relating to our backend files and older War Chests. This will be similar to the process we enacted back in October.

Over the years, many players have either purchased or earned various War Chests. However, some players have unopened War Chests lingering on their accounts. This can happen when players have taken a break from the game, are saving their War Chests for various reasons, or aren’t aware that they have War Chests.

Starting December 2025, if you have any of the following War Chests unopened in your inventory, they will be automatically opened, and the contents will be added to your account:

• Warlords War Chests
• Gods of Thunder War Chests
• Valhalla War Chests
• Banners of Valor War Chests
• Tank War Chests (January 2023)

This automatic opening will happen in two phases:

1. Starting December 2, 11:01 UTC: The first time a player logs in, any of the chests above that they have unopened in their inventory will be automatically opened.
2. Starting December 9, 11:01 UTC: All remaining accounts with any of these unopened chests will have these chests automatically opened, regardless of whether the player logs in. We will gradually be opening chests this way, so you may still see your chests opened upon login.

If any of your chests get automatically opened this way, don’t worry! You’ll be able to see a record of what each chest awarded you by checking your Log:

However, we encourage you to log in before December 2, check your War Chests inventory under your Profile Tab, and open your chests manually!

(Starting December 2, you'll also be able to see your War Chests inventory in the “War Chests” section of the in-game Store.)

By opening your chests yourself, you’ll be able to see each chest’s drops clearly; you’ll also get the in-game celebration that appears every time you open a chest.
