November 11: A Day of Tribute

On November 11, the U.S. observes Veterans Day, a day to show appreciation for the service its military veterans have given.

However, the U.S. is far from the only country that holds November 11 dear. With several Commonwealth nations honoring Remembrance Day, France commemorating Armistice Day, and Poland celebrating its National Independence Day, November 11 has become a day to appreciate great moments and people in history, no matter where that history was made.
