Get ready for new meme Commanders, guaranteed rewards, and the arrival of Iacta Alea Esto (who, along with a couple others, might start with extra open Skill slots!).

April Fools’ Day is almost here, and the battlefield is definitely not immune to a little chaos. The ultimate tricksters, All Mighty RNG and Max Roll, are back for some mischief along with all the other tanking-meme-themed Commanders—plus some new additions!

Inspired by Caesar’s famous “the die is cast” quote, Iacta Alea Esto is the newest chaos-ridden Commander in the game—but he certainly isn’t one to stab you in the back…or is he? Find out by opening the new Commander War Chests, available in the in-game Store through April 6 for 400 Gold!

As their name suggests, each Commander War Chest will grant you a Commander, but also guaranteed Commander XP Boosters, and, if the RNG gods are on your side, even generous amounts of Premium Account time.

The Commanders you’ll find in these chests are possibly the most realistic ones we ever released—check them out in the table below and see if any of them is reminiscent of your time playing World of Tanks Modern Armor.

Additionally, the Commanders marked as Epic below have a 6% chance of dropping, and Iacta Alea Esto has a 0.5% chance of dropping in any of his variations (and you could get him from the guaranteed drop mechanism for Epic drops—more on that later).

Here are some examples of what the contents of a Commander War Chest might look like:

• Example #1: Tim Foyle 2D Standard Commander + x2 Commander XP Boosters (1)
• Example #2: Max Roll 2D Standard Commander + x2 Commander XP Boosters (3)
• Example #3: All Mighty RNG 2D Standard Commander + x2 Commander XP Boosters (5) + 1 Day of Premium Account
• Example #4: Iacta Alea Esto 2D Hero Commander + x2 Commander XP Boosters (1) + x8 Commander XP Boosters (3) + 3 Days of Premium Account

And on top of that, you’re GUARANTEED to receive at least one Commander from the Epic list after every 20th Commander War Chest you open. In other words, if you don’t receive an Epic drop by your 19th chest, your 20th chest will contain one of the possible Epic Commanders. Just keep in mind the following:

• If you have already received one of the Commanders from the Epic drop list, then you will not receive that reward again until all other Epic rewards have been given first.
• Commanders with the same name but different numbers of open Skills slots count as different rewards. For example, if you receive an Iacta Alea Esto with five Slots open, you can still receive an Iacta Alea Esto with four Slots open because it is not considered a duplicate reward.
• Once you get an Epic drop, your 20-chest counter resets.

Every Commander War Chest contains groups of items that are at least the same value as the cost of the chest itself. Commander War Chests are non-refundable.
