Find out what goals you need to achieve to become a Battle Hero for October 2025!

It’s time for the next round of Battle Heroes, our monthly event that honors the top players across several categories of achievements.

To qualify for Battle Heroes, play Multiplayer (PvP) battles throughout the month in tanks from the nation/class/tier(s) selected. If you stand out in a selected category of achievement, you could be chosen as one of the month’s eight Battle Heroes.

For the October 2025 challenge, we’ll be celebrating German Unity Day, which is recognized ever year on October 3. That means that this month, you’ll need to play German Cold War tanks to qualify.

Tanks that you can play include the mighty Leopard MBTs in the Leopard 2A5 line, light tanks like the Marder 1A3, and tank destroyers like the Jaguar 1. Check your Western Alliance tanks; if the name doesn’t give it away, the history provided in the Tank Origin text may help confirm your vehicle’s origin.

All tank classes and Eras count. As long as the tank is German, it will qualify for Battle Heroes!

The top performer in each of the following categories playing a German Cold War vehicle will earn the Battle Hero Medal and Emblem:

• Most Total Damage Combined in a Single Battle
• Most Kills in a Single Battle
• Most Damage Blocked in a Single Battle
• Most Spotting Assist Damage in a Single Battle
• Most Track Assist Damage in a Single Battle
• Most Enemies Spotted in a Single Battle
• Most Medals Earned in a Single Battle
• Most Base Free XP Earned in a Single Battle

Important points:

• The top performers in each category will be selected based on in-game stats achieved during the timeframe of October 1 00:01 UTC – October 31 23:59 UTC.
• October’s Battle Heroes will be announced during the World of Tanks Modern Armor livestream on Tuesday, November 4, at 19:00 UTC. Join us on Twitch or YouTube!
• They will also be announced in a portal article to be published on November 4.
• November’s categories and featured tanks will be announced in a separate portal article published on Monday, November 3.
• October’s Battle Heroes Medals and Emblems will be credited at the time the winners are announced, if not before.

Any tanker can be great, but only a select few can become Battle Heroes. Aim for greatness and claim your place at the top!
