Crew Experience
After each battle, your crew will earn experience (XP) equal to the Tank XP earned in that battle. This XP eventually raises the crew's overall training level percentage. Once the crew has reached a 100% training level for their tank, the player will be allowed to choose either a skill or a perk for their crew to begin training on. Once that skill or perk reaches a training level of 100%, it becomes fully active and the player is allowed to choose another skill or perk, up to a total of 25 skills and/or perks per crew.
Please note that as your crew gains more and more experience, leveling up will become significantly harder as you progress and acquire more Skills/Perks.
Skills and Perks
Once the player has gotten their tank's crew to a training level of 100%, they will be allowed to choose a Skill or Perk that they would like their crew to begin learning. Skills and Perks are crew performance boosters that players will slowly be able to earn and improve over time. A crew can only be training on one skill or perk at a time, and they gain training level percentage points on those skills/perks as the crew earns more XP, just as the crew did with their base training level.
The main distinction between skills and perks is as follows:
- Skill - Skills become active as soon as they're selected, but with the effect on the tank increasing with each skill training percentage earned. Skills start at 50%.
- Perk - Perks remain inactive until its training level reaches 100%.
Because the crew is one unified entity, skills and perks will all exist solely on the crew's Tank Commander, who represents the entire crew.
