Tank origin
Produced by the Batignolles-Châtillon company in 1954, the Bat. Chat. 25t (as it has been familiarly called) was a prototype tank based on the AMX 13. It featured a 90mm gun as well as transmission and propulsion systems that later were reused in the AMX 30. Only two Bat. Chat. 25t units were ever built.
