SPECIAL: VIGILANTE T249 BLACK EDITION UPDATE

Commanders,

We have news regarding adjustments to the Vigilante T249 Black Edition. Based on player feedback and our internal analysis, the following changes will take effect on February 25th, 2025:

• Clip Size: Reduced from 192 to 130 rounds.
• Moving Concealment Factor: Reduced from 0.373 to 0.28, thereby reducing its ability to retain concealment while moving.
• Terrain Resistance: Decreased from 0.5/0.6/1.1 to 0.6/0.7/1.2, resulting in slightly reduced mobility across all terrain types.
• Adjusted Armor Collisions Model: The ammo drum and receiver on the side now take health damage instead of being part of the gun module.
• Camouflage Factor When Shooting: Decreased from 0.255 to 0.12, thereby making the tank more visible when firing.
• Shell Ricochet Angle: Reduced from 90° to 70°, increasing chance of shells bouncing on impact.

Why Are These Changes Being Made?

These adjustments address concerns raised by our players regarding the tank’s impact on match balance and gameplay experience. The changes aim to ensure the Vigilante aligns more closely with other vehicles in its tier, creating a fairer and more enjoyable experience for all players.

We will continue to monitor the Vigilante T249 Black Edition after these changes go live, gathering feedback and analyzing performance data to ensure it remains balanced and fun to play.

If you purchased the Vigilante T249 Black Edition for Gold, you may request a refund by filing a support ticket within 30 calendar days from February 25th, 2025.

NEW TECH TREE TANKS: ROCKET-BOOSTED HEAVIES

The Chinese Tech Tree grows! Branching off from the Tier VI Type 58, the newest World War II line features four vehicles designed for mid- to close-range combat—and all of them use the Rocket Booster mechanic for quick bursts of speed that will enhance your battle tactics.

You’ve got choices, because not one, not two, but three new contracts to earn tanks are now available:

• Leopard VT-2 Escalation Era (Era 2) Western Alliance Medium Tank
• Mercenary Tier X Chisel Medium Tank
• Mercenary Tier V SmoothMan Medium Tank

CHALLENGES AND EVENTS

Weekly Challenge: Leading the Charge

This week, you have three Challenges to take on to earn more rewards.

The first is a straightforward one that will give you a little more Silver up to five times each day:

Weekly Challenge: Count the Days

The second is a set of Challenges that we introduced a few weeks ago. Complete the goals in Seize the Day/Count the Days, and you can earn two Vipers War Chests over the course of five days!

Weekly Challenge: Time it Right

And the third Weekly Challenge is something new.

Once you complete the initial goal in Time it Right, you’ll receive a single Booster, awarded at random, AND you’ll also unlock a random Challenge that will be active for one hour after you complete the initial goal.

During that hour, every time you earn at least 200 XP in a battle, you’ll receive a specific reward multiplier for that battle.

After that hour ends, Time it Right will reset. You can complete Time it Right up to three times per account this week, and you might get the same random Challenge and multiplier more than once.

So head into battle and see what you can earn in the time you have!
