Winter is a time to get everyone you care about gifts—even yourself. And who doesn’t like a gift that might just keep on giving?

That’s what you get with the new, limited-time Winter Fest War Chests!

Winter Fest War Chests are available in the in-game Store, only for Gold. You can also get to them by pressing the “War Chests” button in the Winter Fest Storefront.

Three tiers of Winter Fest War Chests are available:

• Tier 1: Yule War Chests, available for 250 Gold
• Tier 2: Silver War Chests, available for 600 Gold
• Tier 3: Mystic War Chests, available only inside of Yule and Silver War Chests

That’s right, Commander. Both Yule War Chests and Silver War Chests can award chests from a higher tier—and Mystic War Chests are found only inside the other two! (And yes, that means that Yule War Chests also have a chance of awarding Silver War Chests.)

Inside these chests, you can also get themed Emblems, holiday 2D Commanders, festive Garage Gear, and new winter Camo Sets, as well as standard favorites like Silver, Free XP, and days of Premium Account.

And Premium tanks? You bet! Each type of Winter Fest War Chests can award a selection of Premium tanks. In fact, three of the new Winter Fest Premium tanks can be found inside these chests—and Mystic War Chests are the only way to get the new Kampfpanzer 07P(E)!

That’s not all. Every Winter Fest War Chest includes bonus Snowballs that you can spend in the Winter Fest Storefront. The higher the tier, the more Snowballs you get.

But be on your toes, Commander. Snowballs are a limited-time currency, and they’ll melt away when Winter Fest Ends. Be sure to spend all your Snowballs before they disappear with the server restart on Tuesday, January 7th!

Yule War Chests

Every Yule War Chest will give you random drops of at least one and in some cases two items, plus a guaranteed bonus of 200 Snowballs. Here’s a summary of the drops you can possibly receive, along with drop rates:

Note, December 10th: For a short time after launch, some of our Yule War Chests might have awarded an Elf 2D Standard Commander that was not included in the drop lists. If you would like to swap the elf you received for the correct elf, please contact player support for assistance.

Silver War Chests

Every Silver War Chest will give you random drops of at least one and in some cases two items, plus a guaranteed bonus of 350 Snowballs. Here’s a summary of the drops you can possibly receive, along with drop rates:

Mystic War Chests

Mystic War Chests are a special experience. Every chest contains either a Premium tank or, in very rare cases, a super drop of 100,000 Gold. Some of the tanks will also come with their Hero Skins.

Remember, Mystic War Chests are the ONLY place you can get the new German Tier X Kampfpanzer 07P(E) Heavy Tank during Winter Fest—and when you get it from a Mystic War Chest, you’ll also get its Yeti Hero Skin!

Plus, we can’t forget: every Mystic War Chest also comes with 500 bonus Snowballs inside.

Every Yule and Silver War Chest includes a guaranteed drop mechanic for the Epic reward group for that tier (Yule or Silver).

If you open 49 Yule War Chests without dropping an item from this group, then when you open the 50th Yule War Chest you will receive a random item that you don't already own.

If you open 39 Silver War Chests without dropping an item from this group, then when you open the 40th Silver War Chest you will receive a random item that you don't already own.

Receiving a non-Epic tank will not reset the Epic guaranteed drop counter. This means you can keep receiving non-Epic tanks until you reach your 50th Yule War Chest or your 40th Silver War Chest and still be guaranteed the Epic tank. The guaranteed drop counter resets after an item from the Epic reward group is dropped.

If you already possess all the items from the Epic reward group for that tier and the Winter Fest War Chest drops an item from this group, you will receive the tank's value in Silver instead.

To clarify:

• For all three tiers of chests, the system described above applies to Epic drops regardless of how you received your item previously. If you own a tank listed as an Epic reward, even if you acquired it a different way (in a Store bundle, as a Challenge reward, etc.), then you will not receive that reward again until all other Epic rewards have been given first.
• For non-Epic rewards, you CAN receive a vehicle from a Winter Fest War Chest that you have previously acquired a different way (in a Store bundle, as a Challenge reward, etc.).
• IMPORTANT NOTE! If you receive a Premium tank that you already own, then you will be compensated with the tank’s value in Silver instead.

Get ready to unwrap something special when you open a Winter Fest War Chest, now through January 6th!

Every Winter Fest War Chest contains groups of items that are at least the same value as the cost of the chest itself. Winter Fest War Chests are non-refundable.
