Just like our Key Cards, War Chests (Private, Sergeant, and General) will be updated at the start of every new season with a new set of drops. Each chest is guaranteed to give you Gold along with a mix of game-boosting items. Premium Time, XP Boosters, Silver, and more all are possibilities… as is a range of Premium tanks.

The current drop lists--including the possible Premium tanks--will be available until the end of the Soldiers of Fortune season.

Plus, each War Chest in this edition also comes with a 5% chance to include another War Chest of the same kind as part of its content.

Example: acquire a General War Chest > receive one General War Chest + 850 Gold + 2,500 Free XP.

This gives you even MORE chances to add a Premium tank to your collection!

What Are War Chests?

Available from the in-game Store, the PlayStation Store, and the Microsoft Store, War Chests can be used to speed up your progression, expand your tank collection, and unleash Hell on the battlefield. The content value in each War Chest will always be, at least, the same as the cost of the chest itself. Meaning: you will get what you pay for with every chest, with a strong chance of getting even more!

Three different types of War Chests are available: Private War Chest, Sergeant War Chest, and General War Chest.

Private War Chests

Private War Chests will always give you at least three items (with a possibility of four items), which can be any combination of the following:

One of 15 powerful Premium tanks from tiers III to VIII (see list below for more details)
Private War Chest
Up to 400 Gold
Premium Time (1 Day or 3 Days)
x2, x3 Vehicle XP Boosters
x4, x6 Commander XP Boosters
x2 Silver Boosters
Up to 150,000 Silver
Up to 2,500 Free XP

Private War Chests are available in bundles of 1 War Chest ($1.49), 4 War Chests ($5.99), 11 War Chests ($14.99), and 30 War Chests ($36.99).

You will receive 150 Gold with every Private War Chest, along with at least two other items (multiple items of the same kind, such as Gold, will combine into a single item when displayed). If you get a tank with your Private War Chest, you will receive the Gold, the tank, a Vehicle Slot, and Silver. Here are some examples of the contents you may receive from Private War Chests:

Example 1: 400 Gold (150 Gold + 250 Gold) + 1 Day of Premium Time
Example 2: 150 Gold + 100,000 Silver + 800 Free XP
Example 3: 150 Gold + Fighting Girlfriend T-34 + Vehicle Slot + 100,000 Silver

The following Premium tanks are possible contents in the current batch of Private War Chests:

If you receive a Premium tank you already own, you will receive its Gold value fully refunded to your World of Tanks account. If the tank that you get is on sale, then you will receive the sale value instead.

For example: If you already have a T-34 shielded and receive it again with a War Chest, AND there is a 30% discount on the T-34 shielded at the time, then you will receive its Gold value minus 30%.

Sergeant War Chests

Sergeant War Chests will always give you at least three items (with a possibility of four items), which can be any combination of the following:

One of 15 powerful Premium tanks, including tanks from tiers V to VIII
Sergeant War Chest
Up to 1,025 Gold
Premium Time (1 Day)
Up to 150,000 Silver
x2, x3, and x4 Vehicle XP Boosters
x4 Commander XP Boosters

Up to 2,500 Free XP

Sergeant War Chests are available in denominations of 1 War Chest ($2.99), 5 War Chests ($14.99), 12 War Chests ($29.99), and 22 War Chests ($49.99).

Example 1: 775 Gold (275 Gold + 500 Gold) + 25,000 Silver
Example 2: 275 Gold + 1 Day of Premium Time + x3 Vehicle XP Boosters (2)
Example 3: 275 Gold + IS-2M + Vehicle Slot + 100,000 Silver

The following Premium tanks are possible contents in the current batch of Sergeant War Chests:

For example: If you already have a Super Hellcat and receive it again with a War Chest, AND there is a 30% discount on the Super Hellcat at the time, then you will receive its Gold value minus 30%.

General War Chests

Each General War Chest will always give you at least three items (with a possibility of four items), which can be any combination of the following:

One of 20 powerful Premium tanks, including World War II tanks from tiers VII to VIII and Cold War tanks from Era 1 (Post War) and Era 2 (Escalation) (see list below for more details)
General War Chest
Up to 2,125 Gold
Premium Time (1 Day or 3 Days)
Up to 150,000 Silver
x3 Vehicle XP Boosters
x4 and x6 Commander XP Boosters
x2 Silver Booster
Up to 2,500 Free XP

General War Chests are available in denominations of 1 War Chest ($4.99), 7 War Chests ($29.99), 13 War Chests ($49.99), and 27 War Chests ($99.99).

Example 1: 425 Gold + x6 Commander XP Booster (2) + 2,500 Free XP
Example 2: 1,675 Gold (425 Gold + 1,250 Gold) + 600 Free XP
Example 3: 425 Gold + ShPTK-TVP 100 + Vehicle Slot + 100,000 Silver

The following Premium tanks are possible contents in General War Chests:
