New Season – Darkness Rising

In frightful situations like this, two types of people emerge: those who charge head-first toward danger, like this season's Ultimate Season Pass tank, the German Tier X Kanonenjagpanzer 3 GST Turm Tank Destroyer (with its Head First Skin); and those who roll into a ball like an urban armadillo and strategically wait for danger to pass, like the Season Pass tank, the Engesa EE-T1 Osório P2 Détente Era (Era 3) Independent Medium Tank (with its Urban Armadillo Skin).

If you haven't noticed, we have updated the World of Tanks Modern Armor logo and name!

  • This logo update continues our rebranding to Modern Armor. Its intent is to reinforce our identity within the World of Tanks family, staying true to the game you love with a fresh new look.
  • To celebrate this occasion, all players will receive 1 set of vouchers of our new Modern Armor 2024 themed Camouflage upon login!

Changing PEGI Rating

We would also like to inform you that World of Tanks Modern Armor is in the process of changing its age rating in Europe. One of the following updates will increase PEGI (a European age rating system) from PEGI 7 to PEGI 12, with minimal changes affecting new (and not pre-existing) content.

These changes will take effect after October 15th.

UI Updates

Various UI elements have been updated throughout the game as ongoing work to provide a consistent look and feel.

HUD Updates

Reticle lead marks (horizontal lines to the right/left of the reticle) have been re-added to the camera reticle. We plan to improve this further based on feedback to help assist players in leading moving targets more effectively.

Auto-Siege Transition Speed Update

With the introduction of the Type 63, we made an adjustment to its Auto-Siege speed activation to be 25 km/h instead of 15 km/h. This was widely well received by the you, the players, so we've decided to adjust all Auto-Siege tanks to now have an activation speed of 25 km/h.

  • FV4005 Stage II (World War II) + FV4005 Stage II '57 (Cold War): Corrected the VFX locations for the chassis.
  • Concept 1B: Rambo Skin - Moved the jacket to prevent clipping with the flag.
  • T-46: Upgraded gun is now converted to an autoloader.
  • T-80: Removed white spot from the rear of turret.
  • IS-M: Corrected the track model.
  • BT-7: Updated gun is now converted to an autoloader.


Maps:

  • Nebelburg: Addressed a visual issue of a rubble pile at D4.
  • Cao Bang: Blocked access to hide behind the waterfall at A5.
  • Mountain Pass: Bot navigation issues have been fixed.
  • Mannheim:
    • Addressed a collision issue for a destructible wall along the stairs at F2.
    • Adjusted collisions on the bridge railings so that rounds can pass through the gaps between the railings.
  • Vineyards: Bush no longer floats at G2.
  • Province:
    • Tree no longer floats at A2.
    • Adjusted the rock at F2 so it cannot be seen through.
    • Adjusted collisions on the stairs at H9 so players don't hit an invisible collision.
    • Smoothed the terrain at G7 to help prevent getting high-centered.
    • Adjusted rocks and physics to prevent vehicles from getting stuck at D9.
    • Added collisions to the rocks at B1 to prevent access to unintended areas.
  • Azure Coast:
    • Adjusted the collision to match the visual model of the stairs at D2.
    • Added collision to the balcony of the buildings at C7 to prevent players from getting stuck.
  • Ruinberg: Adjusted the collision on the broken wall at H4 to prevent access to unintended areas.
