Tanks Reforged is back, taking on German mediums, various Premium tanks, and more!
Tanks Reforged is the initiative that overhauls vehicles from World War II mode and brings them in line with today’s battle standards.
And make no mistake: After a month-long hiatus, this initiative is back in full force! For the return edition of Tanks Reforged, the team has decided to update the iconic tanks in the World War II Leopard 1 line along with several Premium vehicles AND vehicles with guns that appeared to be underperforming.

The Leopard 1 is a cross between a light and medium tank that is best played from a distance. To help it fit into this role a bit better, we’ve increased its top speed, making it one of the fastest Tier X mediums.
Being able to move and shoot is an important part of the tank’s effectiveness due to its lack of armor, so a substantial improvement was made to its gun handling when moving.
Similar to the Leopard 1, we’ve improved the Leopard Prototyp A’s move-and-shoot capabilities and also increased the damage from the Kanone to improve the stock performance. Fully upgraded, this tank’s performance is doing well, but it’ll benefit from the chassis dispersion improvements.
The L/56 stock gun was removed, as it was just a bad gun for this tier. Players now will start off with the L/71 gun, allowing them to be competitive from the first battle.
The Kanone received the same damage improvements as it received at Tier IX along with overall better DPM.
We’ve removed the stock gun so that players start off with a solid, functional weapon to use.

GUN CHANGES
While we’re at it…
The following vehicles are having their stock guns removed due to poor performance. We didn’t want to delay making these changes, so we’re addressing them now for the benefit of players who might be working on these lines.
There were also some additional improvements made while making these adjustments.
The extra armor on each of these tanks is easily bypassed by the very large turret cupola. The same changes made to the cupola on the other Pattons have been brought to these tanks.
They’ve also received the same damage increase, penetration, and accuracy for the 9cm gun, so they can be more competitive while still having a lower DPM, due to the armor advantages.
The Panzer 58 Mutz has received increased health compared to the Wraith to make up for its lack of spaced armor protection. It also had its handling while moving improved due to its higher speed.
The damage of the 9cm Kanone has been increased to match the changes made to the Tech Tree vehicles.
Because the Wraith has protection from its spaced armor, it received just the 9cm Kanone improvements.
