Guaranteed Epic Drop

Plus, every Steel Asylum War Chest includes a guaranteed drop mechanic for the Premium tanks, which is the Epic reward group for these chests.

If you open 39 Steel Asylum War Chests without dropping a Premium tank, then when you open the 40th Steel Asylum War Chest, you will receive a random Epic tank that you don't already own.

Receiving any other drop from these chests will not reset the Epic guaranteed drop counter. This means you can keep receiving non-Epic drops until you reach your 40th Steel Asylum War Chest and still be guaranteed the Epic tank. The guaranteed drop counter resets after an item from the Epic reward group is dropped.

If you already possess all the tanks from the Epic reward group and your Steel Asylum War Chest drops a tank from this group, you will receive 50% of the tank’s value in Gold instead.

To clarify:

• The system described above applies to Epic drops regardless of how you received your item previously. If you own a tank listed as an Epic reward, even if you acquired it a different way (in a Store bundle, as a Challenge reward, etc.), then you will not receive that reward again until all other Epic rewards have been given first.
• For non-Epic rewards, you CAN receive an item from a Steel Asylum War Chest that you have previously acquired a different way (in a Store bundle, as a Challenge reward, etc.).
• IMPORTANT NOTE! If you receive a Premium tank that you already own, then you will be compensated with 50% of the tank’s value in Gold instead.
• Once you get a Premium tank as a drop, your 40-chest counter resets.

The gates of the Steel Asylum will swing shut soon. So, grab a Steel Asylum War Chest before that happens on December 1!

Note: The content of the chests includes seasonal content that is subject to change. We advise you to open your chests at the time of purchase to receive content from the current drop table.

Every Steel Asylum War Chest contains groups of items that are at least the same value as the cost of the chest itself. Steel Asylum War Chests are non-refundable.

Prices are displayed in USD. For pricing details for your region, please visit the in-game Store, the PlayStation Store, or the Microsoft Store. Availability may vary by platform and region. Steel Asylum War Chests are non-refundable.

Note #2: The guaranteed drop mechanic for Steel Asylum War Chests does not include other previous seasons’ War Chests. This means that the count to your 40th chest starts specifically when you open your first Steel Asylum War Chest.
