NEW: Chrysler MTC 2TC – Get This Mighty Medium

Early in the 1950s, Chrysler developed a concept for a medium tank that, at the outset of the project, was supposed to weigh 30 tons. The armor added to the design pushed the projected weight up to 40 tons, but an opposite diesel engine was proposed to give the tank greater mobility and a higher top speed.

The tank never advanced beyond the concept stage, but we’re bringing you a new vehicle inspired by this piece of American engineering starting March 24. Welcome the American Tier VIII Chrysler MTC 2TC Medium Tank!

Gameplay Tips

For those who’ve never heard of a “heavium,” the Chrysler MTC 2TC is a fine introduction. Its low hull provides you with some solid concealment values, closer to what you might expect from a medium tank, while its robust turret and 105mm gun (capable of 2,000 DPM!) give you protection and firepower similar to what you might get from a heavy.

The Chrysler MTC 2TC’s top speed of 45 km/h places its mobility between that of those two tank classes, so position yourself at mid-range to support your frontline fighters. Put its turret armor to good use and go hull down to sneak in a few strong shots on enemies who will find you hard to take down.

How to Get the Chrysler MTC 2TC

The Chrysler MTC 2TC is the third and final vehicle from the Iron Horizon Anniversary Pass to come into the game!

If you have already purchased an Anniversary Pass and completed Stage 124 by the time the Chrysler MTC 2TC is released on March 24, you will receive the tank the first time you log in on or after the 24th.
If you 1) purchase the Anniversary Pass and 2) complete Stage 124 anytime between March 24 and the end of the season on April 7, you’ll receive the Chrysler MTC 2TC upon login after both of those conditions are met.

You can purchase the Anniversary Pass at the same as the Iron Horizon regular Season Pass or Ultimate Season Pass, or as a separate upgrade after purchasing one of those two. Either way, it’s a stellar deal that gives you the chance to earn not only the Chrysler MTC 2TC but also two more brand-new Premium tanks!
