Ahem, sorry about that. Something about this time of year puts us in the mood for a good, old-fashioned, ritualistic chant, you know?

Ah, right, that’s what it is: it’s time once again for our favorite spine-tingling Earn Challenge, Monster Hunter! And this year, we’ve updated it with extra stages and last year’s new Monster Tanks added to the tanks you can earn.

Challenge: Monster Hunter

Only the Monster Tanks can be let out to play in their Awakened forms during the annual Monster Mash event (which will begin this year on October 24th—more information coming later this week!).

That means that you’ve got a one-week head start on one of the best ways to tame and claim a Monster Tank of your own along with extra rewards: Monster Hunter!

This Challenge is a chained Challenge that requires you to complete stages by earning points. You’ve got two ways to earn your points:

On your way to your Monster Tank, you’ll also earn Emblems, Consumables, Silver, Boosters, and more.

Added to the rewards this year are Emblems representing last year’s spooky newcomers: Asterion, Arachnid, and Death Chariot. By popular request, we’ve also added a new Skin: the “Nobody’s Home” Hero Skin for the Arachnid!

PLEASE NOTE:

• You can claim only ONE Monster Tank through the Monster Hunter Challenge. Choose wisely!
• Once you claim a tank, you will NOT be able to progress through the challenge any further.
• Claiming a tank you already own will reward you with the tank’s value in Silver.
• The Awakened forms of several Monster Tanks have received balance changes this year that will apply only during Monster Mash. Visit the Monster Tank Bestiary to see what they are!

Are you ready, Commander? No wooden stakes or silver bullets needed, just your skill, your intuition, and of course, your favorite tanks. Let the hunt begin!

Challenge: Monsters Unleashed

After completing Monster Hunter (in its entirety or after claiming your Monster Tank), you’ll unlock the Monsters Unleashed Challenge. Earn XP under the same conditions as Monster Hunter, and you’ll get additional rewards. Details below!

Monster Tank x2 Commander XP Bonus

Battle with your Monster Tanks to earn twice the Commander XP on every match, from October 17th through November 6th.

Whether you got your tank this year or any year before, via the Store or the Monster Hunter Challenge, the x2 Commander XP bonus is active on any Monster Tank in any Multiplayer, Co-Op, or Monster Mash battle as long as it’s Halloween on our battlefields!

• Monster tip: Activate a Commander XP Booster to earn additional Commander XP.
• This bonus also applies to The Spectre tank, available in your garage for free. In other words, you can still get this Commander XP bonus even if you don’t own a Monster Tank!

Monster Drop Challenge

Any Monster Tank you acquire from the Store this year (whether in a multi-tank or single-tank bundle) will be eligible for a Monster Drop. And new in the Monster Drop list this year is a special piece of gear for the Customizable Garage: your very own werewolf!

Each victory in Multiplayer OR Monster Mash mode between October 17th and November 6th with a Monster Tank purchased this year will give you one of the following random drops:

• +1,000 Vehicle XP
• +2,000 Commander XP
• Garage Gear: Werewolf
• Enhanced Repair Kit (1)
• Enhanced Med Kit (1)
• 10,000 Silver
• 20,000 Silver
• Consumables Combo: Med Kit (1) and Repair Kit (1)
