It’s a duel for magical supremacy, as Baba Yaga and her Monster Tank, Grimroot, battle Warlin the Wizard and his Monster Tank, the Arcane Cannon!

Halloween has returned to the game, and this year, it’s brought with it two masters of magic fighting for dominion over the line of magical energy that runs through our new Halloween map: Fractured Lands.

The question is, whose side will you join?

For a limited time starting October 21, recruit either one (or both!) as two new 3D Hero Commanders who will narrate your battles with custom voiceover, and take command of their new Monster Tanks!

Halloween 2025 3D Commanders: Baba Yaga and Warlin the Wizard

You might think you know Baba Yaga from the folktales of old. You don’t know this Baba Yaga.

This fearsome bog witch seeks to claim the power in the Fractured Lands so that she can nurture her woodland creatures. Anyone who tries to ruin her beloved ponds and wildflowers will have far more to worry about than just a few artillery shells.

Opposing Baba Yaga is an artist of the arcane who believes that magic is elegant, and its workings can be defined and manipulated. Warlin the Wizard seeks supremacy over the Fractured Lands so that he might build cities of crystal and towers of marble with their power. Woe to any undisciplined tank commander in his way.

As Hero Commanders, both Baba Yaga and Warlin the Wizard will start with three open Skill slots and will earn Commander XP at a +30% bonus rate.

Gameplay Tips:

• Grimroot possesses notable speed and mobility, allowing Baba Yaga to spread darkness across the world. Cover the battlefield as needed; there won’t be any place safe from your reach.
• Use Grimroot’s 15cm armament, which offers 220mm of penetration and 600 alpha damage, to send any opponents in your way back to where they came from: the garage.
• Grimroot also has the uncanny ability to blend into the environment due to its small size and high concealment values. Find a spot, lie in wait, and wait for your enemies to slip up. Baba Yaga is certain they will….

Awakened Power: Potions

In place of the usual Consumables, Awakened Grimroot equips specially brewed Potions. Each Potion will grant different benefits and enhance different stats; take a swig and see for yourself! You can equip three of the five available Potions at a time:

Gameplay Tips:

• As quick-thinking Warlin's weapon of choice, the Arcane Cannon features a fast-firing and accurate main gun. Use it to engage the dark forces in Baba Yaga’s murky woods from a distance.
• For more powerful foes, unleash this tank’s secondary weapon, Magic Missile, to deal a devastating blow with 900 alpha damage and 800mm of penetration. You’ll find it floating above your tank when it's ready to fire.
• Keep up with the evil roots spreading across the land! The Arcane Cannon sacrifices armor for mobility and features a good top speed and great power-to-weight ratio, allowing it to get up to speed quickly.

Awakened Power: Elemental Mastery

Prepare to be awestruck, as through the studies of Warlin the Wizard, you shall learn the intricacies of this vehicle! For it was Warlin who discovered not only that its main weapon can launch projectiles of both lightning and ice, but also that a secondary weapon, invisible to the untrained eye, can spew fire upon enemies. Prove your prowess by switching from one element to the next, and you shall demonstrate skill second only to Warlin's.
