We mentioned in a July article that we’re working to address several areas of the gameplay experience as part of a broader “quality of life” initiative. One of the areas we want to address is the balance between Premium tanks and Tech Tree tanks.

On Tuesday, September 16, we’ll be implementing changes to some of the stats on two Premium vehicles that players have requested adjustments for: the SU-152 "Taran" and the FV4003 Centurion Mk. 5 AVRE.

The changes that these vehicles will receive are shown below:

SU-152 "Taran"

• Concealment
  • Moving: 374.3m -> 381.01m
  • Still: 326.9m -> 338.35m
• 152.4mm Smoothbore Cannon M-69
  • Damage: 950/950/1200 -> 850/850/1100
  • Reload: 18.4 sec -> 17.6 sec
  • Rate of Fire: 3.26 -> 3.41 rounds/min
  • Damage Per Minute: 3,097 -> 2,899

FV4003 Centurion Mk. 5 AVRE

• Hull Armor
  • Armor Panel 9 (Top Supports)
    • 20mm -> 10mm
  • Armor Panel 14 (Dozer Blade)
    • 30mm -> 15mm
  • Armor Panel 17 (Blade Supports)
    • 40mm -> 10mm
• 165mm L9A1 Demolition Gun
  • Shot dispersion penalty during turret rotation: 0.2 -> 0.22
  • Penetration: 185/240 -> 170/220
  • Blast Radius: 4.95m/4.95m -> 4.22m/4.22m
  • Module damage: 244/244 -> 233/233

These two tanks are the only Premium vehicles receiving balance updates on September 16. We will monitor these changes once they go live.
