Welcome, Commander! We’re bringing you a new update about one of the in-development features announced in our Roadmap 2025 post earlier this year. Please note that because this feature is still in development, visuals and details below may change before launch.

With that said, let’s take a look…

REGIMENTS

Regiments, the updated name for Clans, is a new feature coming soon to World of Tanks Modern Armor. For a long time, Clans were managed outside of the game, which was a less convenient experience.

You’ve asked for it, you’ve been waiting for it, and now we’re excited to share that all current Clans existing in the game will be promoted to Regiments. Tank commanders will have the ability to create, join, and manage their Regiment from inside the game.

Regiments is not just “Clans” now in-game, but a new feature that expands on the current Clan functionality to turn each Clan into an organization that offers every player more challenges and more rewards, and most importantly, gives every tank commander a new way to come together and play. We will expand on this new feature over multiple releases throughout the year. For now, we’re excited to give you a closer look at how this new social functionality will work.

CREATING AND JOINING

Players will be able to create new Regiments right from the tab, using the “Create” option. If you want to search for an existing Regiment to join instead, that option appears here, too. If a friend has invited you to join their Regiment, the invite will also appear here.

REGIMENT HQ

Once you’ve joined a Regiment, you’ll see that the Regiments tab contains an HQ landing page, leaderboards (to be added after the initial release), and (if you're an officer) a Regiment management section. The in-game Store will also be expanded with a new category packed with exclusive content for Regiments. Items can be purchased with new Regimental Coins, which are earned in battle from Regiment Daily Missions.

Here’s how the new Regiments home page, named Headquarters or HQ, currently looks:

The HQ landing page contains the Regiment’s current stats, the Regiment Daily Missions, and the member list. View the HQ on login to see the day’s missions and check who is online in your Regiment. Missions for the Regiment work the same way as Challenges: complete them in battle and receive rewards. Every member of the Regiment can complete the Regiment Daily Missions, once per day.

REGIMENTAL COINS

Complete Missions daily to earn Regimental Coins.

Regimental Coins are individually held currency, like Gold or Silver; the balance you see is your personal balance. Use them in the new Store category for Regiments to obtain exclusive customization items and, every once in a while, an exclusive vehicle. Regimental Coin balances are reset each season, so make sure to spend the coins before the season ends!

FUTURE RELEASES

PROGRESSION

We’re not quite ready to show off any visuals for the Regiment progression system. We’ll introduce Regiment progression later, after the initial launch of Regiments, but for now, here is a little overview:

Each Regiment has a “level,” which is increased by Regiment members completing Missions. Each member can contribute to a weekly Mission that will grow the Regiment’s level. Higher levels mean access to more Perks. Perks are benefits provided to all Regiment members and could be things like discounts, earn bonuses, or more.

REGIMENTAL BATTLES

Another system planned for a later launch is Regimental Battles. We don't have too many details to share here yet, but we are looking at options for both synchronous and asynchronous battles for Regiments. Our goal is to allow Regiments to challenge each other in different types of battles. Each team will comprise only a Regiment’s members and will be accessible only by the challenger and their opponent.

LEADERBOARDS

Once it's added, the Leaderboard page will show off where each Regiment stands against the others in various categories. You'll be able to sort the different stat columns to see who ranks first!
