Those who play World of Tanks Modern Armor love a good competition. It’s a chance to prove who’s the best of the best!

So, in honor of the game’s 12th anniversary on February 12, we’re bringing you two weeks of 7v7 battles similar to last year’s Elite Eights event—packed once again with rewards, but this time, available to Cold War players, too, so that everyone has a chance to aim for the top spot on the podium.

How to Play

These battles are event mode battles. To join an Anniversary Ranked queue, head to the game’s mode select screen and look for the event. From there, you can choose whether you’ll battle in World War II tanks or Cold War tanks. You’ll be taken to the garage, where you’ll select your vehicle and roll out to fight!

World War II battles will be open only to Tier VIII tanks, while Cold War battles will be open only to Escalation Era (Era 2) tanks. Full details for each version are below.

Challenge: Anniversary Ranked

Battling for glory is enjoyable enough. But battling for rewards? Even better.

As you play matches in the Anniversary Ranked event, you’ll also be earning points based on 1) whether your team wins or loses, and 2) where you rank on your team at the end of the match. And those points will go toward completing stages (and getting you rewards!) in the Anniversary Ranked Challenge.

Here are the points you can gain:

However, there’s one big difference from last year’s Elite Eights event that makes this a true test of endurance and skill:

• If your team loses the match, you will lose 1 point unless you rank in the top 3 players on your team!

But don’t worry; once you complete a stage in the Anniversary Ranked Challenge, you cannot lose the reward for that stage.

One final note, Commander: You can earn your Challenge points in either Cold War mode or World War II mode. Your Challenge points will carry over if you switch between modes.
