Monster Mash FAQs

What is Monster Mash?

Monster Mash is our unique Halloween-themed game mode that brings out the beast in each Monster Tank.

During this event, players who have earned a Monster Tank through the Monster Hunter Challenge or purchased a Monster Tank at any time will also have the Awakened version of that tank in their garages.

You’ll find Monster Mash lurking in the game’s main menu (the same one you use to select World War II or Cold War mode).

When in battle, your Monster Tank will reveal uncanny abilities, unlike anything you’ve encountered in standard matches! To see the complete Monster Tank list, along with their Awakened powers, unlock the Monster Tank Bestiary by following the link below.

What should I know about Monster Mash battles?

Here are the fine details:

• All Monster Tanks earn x2 Commander XP.
  • This is the Monster Tank x2 Commander XP Bonus that all Monster Tanks enjoy through November 3. If you activate a Commander XP Booster, you’ll earn even more.
• Tanks can use any Commander you wish.
  • Normal Commander transfer fees apply.
• The matches are 7v7 Multiplayer matches.
• Ammunition is free.
• Repairs are free.
• Free XP cannot be earned.
• Silver can be earned, but at a reduced rate.
• Vehicle XP can be earned.
• You can use Consumables but will pay to resupply them.
• Awakened Monster Tanks cannot be customized with Camo, Emblems, Inscriptions, or Flags.
• Awakened Monster Tanks cannot be sold.
• All tanks are Tier IX tanks.
• True Vision will be disabled.
• Matches are 10 minutes long.
• Game Mode: Encounter
• Respawns will be disabled.
• Bots will be disabled.

Do I get anything special from playing Monster Mash mode?

In addition to the supernatural thrill you’ll get when you use your Monster Tanks’ Awakened powers, here are some additional reasons why you’d want to face the darkness in Monster Mash:

• In addition to the Monster Tank x2 Commander XP Bonus, all Awakened tanks have a 300% Commander XP Bonus. That’s four times the Commander XP you normally get. It’s the perfect time to train your Commanders, since you’ll get both bonuses simultaneously.
  
• Any Monster Tank that you purchase from the Store this year (including this year’s two new tanks) are eligible for Monster Drops. And yes, you can earn the Drops in Monster Mash. Not sure what Monster Drops are? Take a look here!

What if I don’t own a Monster Tank?

While Monster Mash is live, all players will have access to The Spectre, a terrifying light tank that rises from the grave each year to haunt the Halloween maps.

The Spectre will be available in your garage for free and can be used only in Monster Mash.

Do I get to keep the Awakened Monster Tanks?

The Awakened form of your Monster Tanks will disappear from your garage with the server restart on Tuesday, November 4. Your regular Monster Tank will remain in your garage for you to unleash devastation with throughout the year.
