Reward Highlights and Season Pass Info

The Icebound season starts on Tuesday, December 2, and runs through Monday, February 2.

Follow one of three paths to claim your season rewards:

• Free Rewards
• Season Pass Rewards
• Ultimate Season Pass Rewards

All Commanders automatically receive rewards from the Free Rewards path. If, at any point in the season, you want to get a Season Pass or Ultimate Season Pass, you’ll also receive the rewards you’ve earned up to your current stage.

Find all the reward details broken down by stage in the game’s “Seasons” tab. Once there, you can also check the season Challenges available. Finish these to receive the points you need to complete each of the season’s 100 stages.

You can see all stage-by-stage rewards in the game. If you’d like a preview of the themed Cosmetics you can get with the Season Pass and Ultimate Season Pass (plus the Icebound Season Medal that everyone receives after Stage 100), check out the table below.

NOTE: You can also get a regular Season Pass and later upgrade to an Ultimate Season Pass. Simply head to the in-game Store and use the Upgrade to Ultimate option available for 4,000 Gold.

Season Vehicles

This season’s rewards feature three legacy Premium vehicles, each with a capacity for destruction that will send chills down any opponent’s spine.

They include the Panzerknacker Auto, which all tankers receive after completing Stage 100. This tank destroyer’s 8,8cm gun is fitted with a three-round autoloader; that and its penetration, accuracy, and reload time stats make it a mobile damage-dealer that dominates the battlefield, smooth as ice.

If you already have these vehicles, then you’ll receive their Silver value as compensation once you complete their associated stages:

• German Tier VIII Panzerknacker Auto Tank Destroyer: 4,400,000 Silver
• German Tier VI Dicker Max Tank Destroyer: 1,280,000 Silver (Season Pass reward)
• Soviet Tier VII KV-122 Heavy Tank: 2,380,000 Silver (Season Pass reward)

But two new Premium tanks are also heading your way with the strength of a winter storm. Learn all about them below!

This beast doesn’t hibernate for the winter. The CS-53/56 sports a 122mm gun capable of 390 alpha damage, making it the hardest-hitting Tier VIII Polish medium tank and an ideal vehicle to support your frontline brawlers.

Although it can penetrate frontal armor, the CS-53/56 puts its full strength on display against softer side armor. Similarly, keep your own hull protected as often as possible, and let your enemies hear the roar of your gun instead.

And once you finish Stage 100, you’ll unlock a Challenge to earn this tank’s Skin. This Challenge is similar to how you unlock post-season bonuses. So, after completing 20 additional stages, you’ll receive the tank-exclusive “Un-bearable” Skin!

Remember building snow forts as a kid? Remember those times when the snow would melt a little and then suddenly refreeze, covering the walls with a sheet of ice?

All of that is to say that if you like the idea of reinforced protection, check out the Challenger Mk. 3.

The latest entry in the line of British Challenger vehicles trades speed for extra armor in the form of bricks of ERA on the front and sides of the hull. The ERA enhances protection against HEAT-based ammunition such as ATGMs, so you'll have greater defense against those types of ammo.

Additionally, the sloped upper hull is built to bounce incoming rounds, and the sloped turret only gets more effective when you take this tank hull down and use its nine degrees of gun depression. Hope your enemies can deal with you giving them the cold shoulder!

Season Commanders

Some say he’s rough around the edges, but when it comes to blending in with the surroundings on a snowy day, he can’t be beat. This season, the 2D Standard Commander that you can earn by completing Stage 75 on the Free Rewards path is Snowmonster.

As a Standard Commander, Snowmonster will earn Commander XP at the regular rate. This special season reward version of the Commander will also start with two Skill slots open instead of one.

Want to recruit another ally who will help you freeze your enemies out of the winners’ circle? Then get an Ultimate Season Pass and immediately receive the Jon “Frosty” May 3D Premium Commander.

As a Premium Commander, Jon “Frosty” May will start with two open Skill slots and will earn Commander XP at a +15% bonus rate. Just don’t tease this snow man about a button nose and corn cob pipe.

Jon “Frosty” May will be ready to join you in battle as soon as you purchase your Ultimate Season Pass. Head over to the Commanders’ tab to customize him with your preferred Skills. Please note that he does NOT come with custom voiceover.

Season Stage Buyouts

Use Gold to skip or buyout stages and reach your rewards more quickly. And it works whether you have a pass or not, too!

Here’s how to do it:

• Highlight the stage you want to skip and press A (Xbox) or X (PS) to skip the Stage.
• You can skip one, multiple, or all stages. The Gold cost will be based on how many stages are being skipped.

Stage buyouts are 250 Gold per stage. There will be NO season overtime or opportunity to skip stages after February 2.
